Makeover Client 1

Hye...i've been very busy this week..but still i make some time to upload some pics for u..This is my client-Lya. She's attending her friend's engagement party...so enjoy!!!

Make Over Myself part 1

Last night i felt bored, so i took out my makeup box n started playing with my face...with no initial idea, i just do what my heart desire(at that moment) to my face..basically this is just a simple Grey smokey eyes..


drum rollsss....for the 1st time ever..presenting, the ugly ME!!!!tadaaa!!!!




So that's how i look without makeup..My biggest concern are my eyes..And my face is tres big..Had to do something to "beautify" those features...uhuhuhuhu...
some contouring and smokey eyes shall do the trick...No nose shading tho..i just don't feel like it...

Yesterday, syima challenged me to do a gothic look. So this is my result:

Wearable Modern Vamp Look

This is just some look i pull together to try my new REVLON Super Lustrous lipstick Pearl in 150 Cocoa Bronze.

I am amazed on how it turns out when applied on lips. It have that deep reddish look. I would have never guessed that. It just look very bronzy brown. Not even a hint of red..But im loving it. It looks good on picture..

Water Blue Arabic eyes

For the technique, you can check out my Golden Arabic Eyes tutorial. I'm using the same technique but different colors.

The colours I used are (referring to Golden Arabic Eyes tutorial)
1. Bright Sparkly Blue ( as gold)
2. Dark Blue + Black (as black)
3. Satin White (as highlighter)

Golden Arabic Eyes

Hi everybody!!..Sorry didn't update any makeup tutorial yesterday..I was busy grabbing cheap online makeups..Haha..I'll post the products and reviews once i received and tested them OK?..

To make up for yesterday, I've made a very special and detail looks for you guys today. First let me warn you, this one, you have to be really precise OK?...

So the colors you need are:
1. Gold
2. Black
3. Golden Yellow (or any lighter shade of gold)
4. Cream (highlighter)
Other stuff you need:
1. 2 streaks Adhesive tape (about 4-5cm long)

Prepare your face with foundation and powder. Apply eyeshadow primer/base. Put the adhesive tape on the back of your hand and take it off. Do this 2-3 times until it becomes less tacky. Then put that tape on your cheek bone. Put it from the end of your eyes and slanting to your brow. Do both sides.

Then take black eyeshadow with eyeshadow brush, starts filling in your eyelid from the outer corner until 2/3 in. Using what's left on your brush line along the adhesive tape, creating like a triangle pointed shape. You can take it as high as you want as long as it does not past the brows.

Clean up the eyeshadow brush and take gold. Filled in the rest of your lid. Basically covering all the empty spaces on your eyelid and the triangle shape we made earlier. Just makes sure the gold doesn't overshadow the black. Does that make sense?..Just leave me a comment if it doesn't. I'll explain further.

Then go in with a softer brush. I'll use a blending brush for this. Take the Golden yellow and just swiftly go over the top of Gold. Just to get rid of the harsh lines. But makes sure you leave some space for highlighter. Put on the highlighter and take off the adhesive tape.

For the details, use a wet eyeliner in black to make a winged lash line or other people call it the cat eye effect. Whatever. Just do that on your upper lash line. Take an eyeliner pencil in black and line your lower water line and lash line. Make a thick line. Then go in with a pencil brush and smudge the lines we made. Take black eyeshadow and smudge it on our lower lash line. Apply mascara. And I would suggest applying falsies because it'll make this look really dramatic.

On the check, go with something peachy or any other colors that match gold. Pink would clash with gold, so not a good idea.

For the lips, nude are best as the eyes are already dramatic. Currently I'm out of nude lipstick, so i just apply nude lip gloss. But if you have nude lipstick, it'll be perfect. Apply that, and put on lip gloss if you like the shine.

Rosy Black???

1st thing on my mind : Pink and Black???will it works???? It sure does. This is the end result. Looks like purple right?.. Believe it or not i didn't use any shades of purple. The colors i used are:
1. White
2. Light Pink
3. Pink
4. Black
5. Highlighter (any color of you choice)

As always, 1st step apply eyeshadow base/primer. A good base will makes sure your eyeshadow stay longer. Especially for those who have oily eyelid/skin. For this look, the stickier the base is better. Why?..Because I'm going to use lots of white and pink. We all know these colors are very hard to pop out so it'll need the help of a sticky base. I used Orima eyeshadow cream in 01 which is a shimmery white color, a Germany brand. Don't worry the shimmers weren't obvious at all. That's why it only cost me RM11. You can buy it from Sinma. It's so inexpensive but very useful. If you have more money to spend then try to get MAC paint pot. Any shades of white will do.

Then apply the white eyeshadow in the inner corner of your eyes. Apply light pink on the middle and pink at the outer corner. Blend between the colors a bit to get rid of the harsh lines. Then take a pencil brush and draw your outer V with black eyeshadow. Using a blending brush, take some of the pink eyeshadow and starts to blend the black. Blend it out until the pink and black unite into a soft shades of purple.

Clean up the pencil brush and pick up some of the white eyeshadow. Smudge it on your inner V, until 1/3 of your lower lash line. Take pink,smudge it the from the middle until the end of your lower lash line. Using the same pencil brush, dip it on black and smudge it on the last 1/3 of your lash line.

Apply eyeliner on the upper lash line. Staying very close to the lash line. Apply mascara and/or falsies.So that's it for the eyes.

For the cheek, apply a light pink blusher and pink/peach lip gloss.

Smokey Eyes - Blue n Black

This is a very intense look using
1.Black
2. Deep Blue
3. Blue
4. Cream (as highlighter)

As you can see, on the eye lid closest to the lash line, I applied the deep blue color..Sort of dark greenish+navy blue. In the inner corner of the lid, I applied black eyeshadow. On the crease I applied the normal blue color. Then take a soft dull brush and starts to blend the color in a windshield wiper motion. You can go slightly above your crease. Then wipe off that dull brush and take your highlighter, pressed it on the arch of your brows and gently starts to blend it, staying under the brows. We are done with the eyelids.For the lower lash lines, take your eyeliner pencil and draw on your waterline, all the way in. Make the same line slightly lower than your waterline. Then take a smudging brush and smudge the lines that we made with the eyeliner pencil earlier. Using the same smudging brush, take the deep blue color and apply it on the lines that we smudged . It'll make sure the deep blue eyeshadow stick to the lower lash lines.

For the details, apply gel eyeliner on the lid, stay closest to your lash line and apply mascara to the upper and lower lashes. You can also apply false lashes if you want. It is totally optional.

As for the cheeks, i apply a peachy blusher and top it off with bronzer. I apply peach colored lipgloss. And we are good to go.

Smokey Eyes - Purple n Black

This is a basic Smokey eyes look using only 3colours..
1. Black
2. Dark purple
3. Light purple

If you notice, i didn't use any highlighter..I feathered the light purple out until the eyebrow. Without any white/cream color there, it gives that dark mysterious look...

Then for the details, i use black mascara and black eyeliner just to deepen the black eyeshadow on the lid...

On the cheek, i apply a light pinkish colored blusher and top that with a bronzer to give the extra glow..You can also apply the bronzer along your nose to give a hint of slimmer nose..

I apply a nude lipstick because my eyes are already quite dramatic and I don't want to many things going on on my face. It'll look ridiculous..So I used nude lipstick to tone down the look.
